I am busy beavering away preparing Christmas presents for my lovely clients families. There will be plenty of excited Grandparents this year! I am way way behind on blogging but will hopefully get to share a few recent sessions next week. We all know what life is like this time of the year and although I love to share, caring for my existing clients is of course my priority.

How adorable is this little guy!He brought his family out for an early morning session at my favourite location, I like to call it my ‘Summer Office’ and is the setting for this weekends Mini Sessions. If you are booked in for a session this weekend please take note of the gorgeous clothing chosen by this Family. Maternity Photography Canberra | Anticipation

I had a gorgeous family in my home studio this morning to capture their anticipation of a special Christmas pressie. Waiting for a baby is such a wonderful time for a Family and an important time to capture. It was really hard to choose which images to to share as a sneak peek, especially when they were all so loving and natural in front of the camera. However, I couldn’t go past this beautiful expression given by Big Brother when I asked him to imagine his baby….

Baby Photography Canberra | Capturing Simple Moments

This was a secret session as a birthday present for an adoring dad who has everything. Have I mentioned how much I love these sessions! He now has a gorgeous canvas storyboard of his 2 great loves. When I look back to how I spent the time when my babies were babies my favourite memory was the large amount of time spent snuggling on the bed. I think it is this memory which makes these sessions so special.

I know having these simple moments captured will spark a memory for this Family of the wonderful time they spend doing just this, snuggling with this adorable baby admiring his gorgoeus features. I can’t think of any other artwork that can give such pleasure.
