My poor neglected blog, I have some catching up to do.
My gorgeous Elly has spend the last week of her holidays doing something it seems she was born to do. Pottery! She has spent her whole life creating……… well mess! We (well Mr Tidy DH has had little choice) have always appreciated her creativity and have encouraged her glitter, flower petals, dog water, playdough, sand and tanbark concoctions but it is so nice for her to have a place to go where she can do what she does best to her hearts content. Alex is a very talented natural teacher who has mastered the art of allowing the children to create their own work, while ensuring it looks good. Pottery classes for children are held during the school holidays and after school during the school term. They are held at the Watson Arts Centre and conducted by the Canberra Potters Association. Oh and if you are wondering what she has made, it is a bird house in the style of a bee hive! Thank you Alex for a great week.
